There are rumors regarding the delay of Grand Theft Auto 6 to 2026. However, the Journalist Jason Schreier talked to Rockstar employees. The employees cited that they did not have any knowledge of the delay.
Rumors regarding the delay of GTA 6 started circulating, claiming the game has been delayed to 2026.
Jason Schreier stated that he has talked to six Rockstar employees and all of them had not heard anything about the delay. It means that Rockstar is giving it their all to release the game in 2025.
Grand Theft Auto 6 Is Not Delayed
This can be good news for all the GTA fans who are waiting for the game. So far, the release date for the game has been narrowed down to the second half of the year 2025.
The game might need more polish during this time which can result in the delay of the game to 2026 but that is not the case as of now.
It should be noted that Rockstar has confirmed that the SAG-AFTRA strike that is ongoing will not delay Grand Theft Auto 6. Since the game went into development before 2023 which means that actors can return to the studio if they choose to.
All we can do is wait and see if Rockstar can give us a solid release date for the game. It remains to be seen if the game will come out in the release window of 2025. In the meantime, a new trailer for the game wouldn’t hurt.
