Entire Team of Annapurna Interactive Resigns

The entire gaming division of Annapurna Interactive has resigned after a conflict with the leadership. Annapurna Interactive is known for indie games such as Stray, The Artful Escape, and Neon White.

According to reports the president of the company Nathan Gary was in talks with the founder Megan Ellison to create a gaming division for the company. When Megan Ellison backed off from the negotiations Nathan Gary resigned which resulted in 25 employees resigning as well. The two co-heads Nathan Vella and Deborah Mars also resigned.

A former employee gave a joint statement to Bloomberg and said “All 25 members of the Annapurna Interactive team collectively resigned. This was one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make and we did not take this action lightly.”

Annapurna has announced that they will stay committed and support their partners. Hector Sanchez a former Epic Games executive will now be part of the leadership. Hector Sanchez has assured the partners that their contacts will be completed even when the company is trying to fill the gaps left by the resignation of employees.

Annapurna Interactive made a deal with Remedy for Control and Alan Wake which is one of their biggest deal if not the biggest.
