Metro Awakening VR was shown during State of Play on September 24. The game is set to release on November 7.
For the fans of VR games and Metro games, it is a dream come true. It will be a good VR experience especially if you have been playing Metro games. Developed by Vertigo Games, Metro Awakening VR is set to release on Steam VR, Quest 2, and Quest 3, and PlayStation VR2. A new trailer was also released along with the announcement.
It is a story-driven first-person action-adventure game that is made for VR. Metro Awakening VR blends stealth, combat, and atmospheric exploration for which the game is famous. The game takes place in the year 2028. The survivors of the apocalyptic event are now clinging to the life underneath Moscow.
Players play as the character of Serdar who is willing to go beyond the Metro and into the the deadly radiation. He will face off against dangerous threats as he goes in search of medication that his wife needs. His sanity and courage are pushed to the limit. Players must walk the fine line between life and death as they come face to face with the spirit and material world.
Pre-orders for the Metro Awakening are available which include Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition.
