A new James Bond game has been announced during State of Play and it is called 007 First Light. This new Bond game has some Uncharted vibes. There is no launch date for the game just yet, but it is slated to release sometime in 2026. PS5 is not the only platform that this is launching on; it will also be available on Xbox, Switch, and PC.
007 First Light is aiming at a different take on the character of James Bond. Instead of being a veteran spy player will take control of a younger James Bond. There are also some Hitman vibes for good reason since it is being developed by IO Interactive the developer of Hitman games. It is their first game in more than three years.
This announcement comes at a time when the franchise is under the Amazon. More details regarding the game will be released but based on what we can see, there seems to be one hell of a ride. It can keep players intrigued as they wait for more information from the game.
