The last Darksiders game was released in 2019, titled Darksiders Genesis. Earlier, THQ Nordic teased that a new Darksiders is on the way. Now, a year later, THQ Nordic dropped a reveal trailer for Darksiders 4 during this summer’s THQ Nordic showcase.
No information was given regarding the game, which suggests that it might take a while for the game to see the light of day. It does make it clear that all four horsemen will be involved in the game.
It is unknown which horsemen will be the central focus of the game this time, since each game in the series has one of the four horsemen. The four horsemen include War, Fury, Death, and Strife. Since the trailer emphasizes the War, it could be the prime candidate.
There might be co-op and multiplayer elements at play, but that’s just a guess at this point.
It also remains to be seen how Darksiders 4 will play. The series is known for jumping between different genres that range from Diablo-like, 3D Zelda-like, top-down, Souls-like, top-down, and even a twin-stick shooter. To know what type of game it is going to be, we need to wait for another update from the developer to know what type of game it is going to be.
We don’t have a release date for the game just yet, but it acted as the main event during the showcase. Other games were also showcased, and some of them can be quite good.
