A New RPG Fatekeeper Was Announced During THQ Nordic

THQ Nordic has announced its new game, known as Fatekeeper. It is a first-person fantasy RPG slated for early access this year.

The game will feature a handcrafted world, Reactive combat, and rich progression. Players can visit surreal battlegrounds, forests, and ruins as they peel layers from lore to show players what has happened in an area. It shapes the adventure as you face the enemies while progressing.

Even though Fatekeeper has an RPG-style narrative, with the intention to make exploration rewarding, the regular RPG stuff is also there. Players can shape their character as they progress, master armor and weapons. Every choice and encounter will shape the story.

The game is being developed by Paraglacial, which is a new studio brought to life by former Grimlore Games developers who also helped with the development of SpellForce 3. So you can be sure that the game is in good hands. Grimlore Games itself is working on Titan Quest 2, which was also part of the showcase.
