Five years ago when next-gen games for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S were being announced left and right, one of the first next-gen games among them was Pragmata. It was supposed to be an amazing-looking game that featured a little girl and an astronaut. The game was so far from completion that two years ago the developers had to release a new trailer just to affirm that it is still in development.
Now, Capcom has reassured once more by releasing a new trailer along with a release date for Pragmata. Seems like whatever problems the developers were facing have been resolved. The game will release sometime in 2026 so at least it now has a release window.
The new trailer for the game was presented during State of Play. Developers are calling the game a “science fiction action adventure with its own unique hacking twist,” based on what we can see in the trailer, that is exactly the case. The little girl we see in the trailer is an android that rides atop the astronaut’s shoulder.
Despite the new developments, there are still things that we don’t know about the game due to its lengthy development phase. New information will be provided since we now know the release window for the game.
