Cronos: The New Dawn Gets New Gameplay Trailer

Bloober Team the Polish developer behind Silent Hill 2 Remake has released a new trailer for their upcoming game Cronos: The New Dawn. More details of the game were revealed along with gameplay. It takes place in an alternate Poland in a post-apocalyptic setting.

Aside from Silent Hill 2 Remake, Bloober Team is famous for some well-known narrative-driven walking simulators such as Observer, Layers of Fear, and Blair Witch.

The success of Silent Hill 2 Remake has prompted the developer to create more complex projects with different gameplay for their future games.

The recent trailer of the game shows us different enemies that players will face as they go on to explore different locations. There are some horrifying moments in the game since enemies will eat dead bodies to become even stronger. Such mechanics will force players to avoid getting into such scenarios. There is also a Dead Space kind of vibe to the game which is always good news. That’s just my take on it since I am a huge Dead Space fan.

Weapons that the main character has will not only be used to protect against other enemies but also as tools to explore different locations all around. Players will have the ability to use a grappling hook and telekinesis to move around in the environment.

Cronos: The New Dawn is set to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC in 2025.
