It has been six years since we have gotten a usual Dynasty Warriors game, now, with Dynasty Warriors Origins the game series goes back to the Three Kingdom era. During the PlayStation State of Play, we got to see a new trailer of the game. The new trailer shows off better graphics and the combat that fans have come to love over the years.
It has also been revealed that players will only have one playable character which seems enticing. The player’s character is a nameless who has no memory and now finds themself in the middle of a conflict. One can guess that there won’t be much change of characters in the story mode. Players will see the beginning and end of the story through the eyes of a single original character.
The press release that we have gotten shows that the players might play as the main character’s allies under certain conditions. So there is a chance that we might get to experience it both ways. One thing is certain, it will be different than other entries that we have gotten in the series.
Dynasty Warriors Origins is set to release on January 17th, 2025. We will find out the differences that the game brings compared to the previous entries when the game gets released on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
