During Gamescom 2024, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves was announced by SNK CORPORATION which is set to release on April 24, 2025. The developer also showcased the game modes that were coming into the game. Preorders for the game are now open. Players who preorder will receive the costume of Terry Bogard which is based on his classic Fatal Fury appearance and three days early access to the game.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
The game will have a wide range of diverse characters. There are familiar characters along with new ones. 17 characters will be playable at launch. The fan-favorite characters like Terry Bogard will return along with some new characters. 5 additional characters will be added as part of Season 1 content.
The first Fatal Fury was released in 1991 which started the fighting game craze that took over the gaming industry. Garou: Mark of the Wolves, was the last Fatal Fury game released in 1999. So the new Fatal Fury is releasing after 26 years of the last one.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is a big deal for the developers which should not be ignored.
