A new title called La Quimera has been announced by the devs behind the Metro series, Reburn. It is a first-person sci-fi shooter that seems quite interesting.
The game takes place in a megalopolis and lush jungle setting. Players will step into the exosuite (Which is Customizable) as a PMC soldier whose luck has dried out and is now fighting against hostile factions. The story and the world of the game are created by Nicolas Winding Refn and E.J.A. Warren. It combines the elements of American folklore with sci-fi elements. The game can be played in both single-player and co-op with up to three players. If you have played Metro games, then the impact of them is evident in both storytelling and gunplay.
The founder and CEO of Reburn, Dmytro Lymar explains it as “Reburn is proud to introduce La Quimera, which draws upon our success crafting narrative-driven shooter games for the Metro series. We look forward to sharing this mysterious new world with players and hope they revel in suiting up to join the fight.”
The developer of the game has more than 110 developers from a wide variety of expertise. Some of the developers working on the game have worked on the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. The CEO of the company has worked on these games since 2006 and was previously CEO of 4A Games Ukraine. So, I guess that the game is in good hands.
