Mafia: The Old Country Take Game to 20Th Century Sicily

A new Mafia game is in development and it is called Mafia: The Old Country. The game takes place in 20th-century Sicily, unlike the previous games in the series that took place in America.

Mafia: The Old Country is being developed by Hangar 13. It is the same studio that developed Mafia 3. The studio that developed Mafia 1 and Mafia 2 was Illusion Softworks. Illusion Softworks was then merged into Hangar 13. So we can be sure that the game is in good hands.

The new Mafia was revealed during the Gamescom by the president of Hangar 13 Nick Bayne. He said that the Mafia: The Old Country will take the game back to its roots. It will bring back all the things that people liked about the series. The game will have a deep and linear narrative. Since the game takes place during the 20th, we will have even more older cars.

2K will show more of what Mafia: The Old Country has to offer in December of 2024 before the release of the game that will take place sometime in 2025. This Gamescom is a big deal for 2K since they have also announced Borderlands 4 and revealed the release date of Civilization 7.

There is not much information regarding the game but we do know that the game is going to get released in 2025.
