Reanimal was one of the reveals at Gamescom. It is a chilling horror game from Tarsier Studios the developers of Little Nightmares. Just like the developer’s previous game, Reanimal is a side-scrolling eerie game. The trailer shows mutated animals on the farm that are chasing the player’s character. There is other stuff going on the map as well but we only have a trailer as a reference so things might be different.
The game is set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC but the release date is not specified yet.
The Stream Description on the game states “In this horror adventure game, a brother & sister go through hell to rescue their missing friends and escape the island that they used to call home.” The game can be played solo or in co-op, though it’ll have a shared camera “designed to maximize claustrophobia and tension.”
Even though Tarsier Studios is busy with the development of Reanimal, Little Nightmares 3 is still in development by Supermassive Game which has been delayed to 2025.
