Saber Interactive teased a game that seemed to be a gory one, and many fans believe that it is a horror game based on Hellraiser. The studio is also working on Park Survival, which is based on the Hasbro franchise and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake, among others.
The VHS footage was accompanied by a reveal date of the game, with many Reddit users speculating it to be a Hellraiser game. In another video, Saber Interactive shows another horror-focused influenced video. The full version of it might be the video that we will see this week. The developers are explaining it as a gore-heavy game. The post even explains it as an experience that could even be too much for a video game.
The idea of a Hellraiser game is not new. There was a Hellraiser game in development in 1990 for the NES, but it was never released.
The Pinhead character was added to Dead by Daylight in 2021, but it has now been removed without a proper explanation. It would stand to reason that Pinhead might have been removed to make way for Saber Interactive’s take on Hellriser. It could be a false Alarm, and Saber Interactive might be aiming for a completely different game.
