During the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, many announcements were made, one of which was FromSoftware’s The Duskbloods. The thing that makes this announcement surprising is that it will be a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive. Exclusivity of the game is welcome news for some, while not so much for others. Players on other consoles and PC are not happy with the news of exclusivity.
PlayStation players are especially not happy with the news since The Duskbloods looks quite a lot like the PlayStation-exclusive FromSoftware exclusive Bloodborne. Even though it shares some similarities with Bloodborne based on how it looks, at its core, it is a different game due to its PvP and PvE nature. That hasn’t stopped gamers from showing their disappointment with its exclusivity.
Even though there is some negativity, some gamers are really looking forward to the game. However, considering the fact that you have to buy a console for it can be a bit too much. There is also the possibility that it might be a temporary exclusive for Switch 2.
The Duskbloods is set to release in 2026 for the Switch 2, but no proper release window has been given for the game just yet. While players wait for the game, they can play Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, which has Shadow of the Erdtree, on Switch 2.
