The Game Awards 2024 dropped quite a bit of nukes and it has resulted in 2025 being a busy year. Among all the trailers that were revealed the announcement of FromSoftware Elden Ring Night Reign was big news. It is a spin-off of the original game. I will be honest with you, this was a huge surprise for me since it hasn’t been that long since we got a DLC for the original game.
Upon the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree, FromSoftware revealed that there would not be a sequel or DLC for Elden Ring near future but now we know that it was false information. It seems like Elden Ring Night Reign is a cross between Dark Souls 3 and Lands Between
The trailer shows us Nameless King and Fire Keeper from Dark Soul 3. We also get to see the dead body of Godwyn. It means that we might get to fight against it but that is not confirmed yet.
Elden Ring Night Reign is different because it is a multiplayer spin-off taking place on a map that changes every time you play. The game is expected to release in 2025 so expect more gameplay trailers from the game. For now, you can play other games similar to Elden Ring.
