The developers of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Rocksteady Studios, have announced that the fourth season will be the final season for the game. The final season has been launched on December 10, 2024, and brings Deathstroke as a new playable character. With the release of the final season, the long-awaited offline mode will also be coming to the game. It will enable players to go through the main campaign without going online.
The final episode brings the ultimate face-off against Brainiac which will wrap up the multiverse storyline that we have been seeing unfold over the past year. Episode 4 of the season will launch on January 14, 2025, which will end the game’s story. Deathstroke is part of the post-launch character for the game, other characters include Mrs. Freeze, Lawless, and The Joker. To play offline mode players either need to create a new profile or copy existing one to keep the progress.
The game was initially hyped but the review and poor sales hindered the game’s performance which didn’t work well due to its live service nature. There were also concerns regarding some of its controversial story elements. The game has a considerable financial impact for Warner Bros.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has challenges upon its release but that has not stopped Rocksteady from delivering a somewhat decent end to the project. The developer is ending the game on good terms but how successful they are in achieving it remains to be seen.
