Star Wars: Zero Company is the upcoming Star Wars game. The XCOM like tactical game was revealed on the Star wars Celebration day. The game is set to release in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
It takes place at “twilight of the Clone Wars,” as stated by the developer. The main character is Hawks which is former Republic officer who is in command of an elite squad of soldiers. Hawks along with his squad are taking on a new emerging threat. It is a single-player game with tactical turned-based combat which the developers explains as “meaningful outcomes from player choices”.
The core gameplay loop revolves around taking different tactical missions and investigate different stuff in the galaxy. All the while player will be developing their base of operation and collect intelligence for their network.
The game will have new characters. Players can chose between different characters for their squad who will have different species and classes. Players would be able to swap character to make their desirable squad. Hawks acts as the main character whose appearance as well as class are customizable.
Bit Reactor is the developer of Star Wars: Zero Company which is a new studio with a lot of staff experienced in strategy games. It will receive support from Lucasfilm Games and Respawn Entertainment while it is being published by EA Games.
The game was rumored to be in development for quite a bit of time but now we have more information about the game. A release window reveal trailer was also released for the game which you can watch bellow.
