Battlefield 6 has been announced along with the release of a new trailer. There seems to be some story elements, so we are getting the story mode. After the lack of a story mode in Battlefield 2042, it seems like EA is finally going back to campaign.
In the trailer, we see the President of the United States addressing the nation against a threat that has invaded the country. That threat is a mercenary group called Pax Armata. The group seems to be heavily armed and is presenting a challenge to the most powerful military in the world.
We see destruction in New York as tanks roll in and soldiers shoot at each other. In the trailer, the city is pretty much in ruin since it has become a battlefield for the two forces. We see planes flying that belong to both sides as they maneuver each other.
There are tanks to drive, planes to fly, vehicles to drive, and helicopters to pilot.
There seems to be a lot of destruction, which leads us to one of the game’s most amazing features. The destructible environments are back! Based on what we can see in the trailer, that seems to be the case. We even see a dam getting destroyed. The signature Battlefield chaos is everywhere.
There are fights in trenches, tactical missions, and missiles being fired. There are a lot of different missions being shown, and each one seems to be unique. Battlefield 6 might be the next best Battlefield if things go well.
