Fajrul FN has dropped a new trailer for Acts of Blood after nearly a year of testing. The indie beat-’em-up was showcased during Summer Game Fest 2025.
The game takes place in Southeast Asian dystopia and focuses on a young man on the quest for revenge for his dead father. He has to fight against a large number of criminals. It seems that the game takes inspiration from brutal Indonesian martial arts movies, such as The Night Comes For Us and, of course, The Raid.
When it comes to gameplay, it seems to take inspiration from Sifu, which was the first game that came to mind when I saw the trailer. It builds upon the premise of the sole hero against waves upon waves of enemies. Acts of Blood goes one step by adding ranged weapons making it even more brutal.
These elements are combined with Mirror’s Edge-style parkouring in the city. Expect a lot of bone-breaking hand-to-hand combat as well as the use of parkour to evade law enforcement agencies.
The game is set to release in the summer of 2026. At least we have a release date unlike some other games, yes I am looking at you The Witcher 4.
