Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been delayed once again to March 2025. The publisher of the game Ubisoft, will consider feedback from fans and make changes accordingly. Originally, the game was set to release in November but it was delayed by three months and now it has been delayed once more to March 20, 2025.
The first delay was announced in September 2024, shifting the game’s release date to February 14, 2025. Ubisoft explained the delay by simply stating that it was “in the best interest of the game.”
It was later revealed that the previous delay was caused due to the correction of historical and cultural accuracy. The new delay is caused due to the developer’s incorporation of feedback from fans. The vice president of the Assassin’s Creed franchise Marc-Alexis Coté, stated “committed to delivering a high-quality, immersive experience—fostered by ongoing dialogue between our players and development teams.”.
Like the previous delay of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, this new delay will give the developers time to refine and polish the game before release. I hope that the game is not a buggy mess from the start.
