It’s another year, so another Call of Duty was bound to pop up, which brings us to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Yes, you heard that right, we are getting another Black Ops game. The trailer shows a cybernetic butterfly with some sci-fi stuff and features Milo Ventimiglia. The game was announced at the conclusion of the Xbox Games Showcase. The teaser was released before the full reveal of the game later this summer.
The game takes place in the year 2035. The game describes the setting as “the world is on the brink of chaos, ravaged by conflict and psychological warfare following the narrative events of Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6.” As per Activision, it will be “the first-ever consecutive release within the series, set more than 40 years after the events of Black Ops 6.” So expect a lot of futuristic and sci-fi stuff.
David Mason will fight against “a manipulative enemy who weaponizes fear above all else.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. No release date for the game has been provided just yet, but based on the previous record, it will be released this year.
