Dead Rising Is Back With Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster

Another remaster for Dead Rising is coming and it is known as Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster which was announced by the developer, Capcom. The new remaster will be available on the new generation of consoles along with Windows PC. It means that the new remaster will be available on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

There are not many details available on Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster but the remaster is expected to launch in 2024. The new teaser claims that it will be an updated release with a brand-new look. The main character Frank West has been completely remodeled and has a new voice actor this time around. In the trailer, the town looks better, and crisper, and has more details and more zombies.

Just like the original Resident Evil, Dead Rising is inspired by famous zombie movies like Dawn of the Dead. In the Dead Rising game players spend three in-game days in the zombie-infested Willamette Parkview Mall.

Use Everything At Your Disposal

You have to use everything available in the shopping mall to use as a weapon to survive. Frank is investigating the infection as a photojournalist. He will come across different survivors and help them escape as they try to fend off the horde of zombies. Along with zombies, you also need to fight against humans known as psychopaths.

Dead Rising is famous for its combat scenario and unique way of dealing with enemies. As Frank, players can slay hordes of zombies using everything available at the shopping mall. Players can use chainsaws, battle while riding a skateboard, or even wear a full Maga Man suit to fight off hordes of zombies.

You can also use a frypan, helmet, or anything else to slay zombies. Everything at the Mall is available at your disposal as a weapon. The ability to use everything you can pick up as a weapon is what makes the game such a great experience.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is a Big Deal

The original Dead Rising was released on Xbox 360 in 2006. An HD remake was released in 2016 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Even though Capcom released different entries in the series as sequels there hasn’t been any new one since Dead Rising 4 in 2016. The studio behind the Dead Rising franchise, Capcom Vancouver was also shut down in 2018.

The release of a new Dead Rising even if it is a remaster, is major news for the franchise. The success of it can even lead to another sequel for the game. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be the third time that Dead Rising is getting remaster or remake which can seem like an overkill.
