We now have the release window for Fable as Microsoft has made it clear. The game is going to be released in 2025. So we have to wait at least a year to get our hands on the game. The last time at the Xbox Games Showcase, we only got a brief trailer with no information being given whatsoever.
In the trailer, we get a glimpse of our character’s back story and what motivates her to move forward. The game is focused on a hero who is an apprentice of a hero who has been forced into retirement.
You get to see what other characters think about your character. The plot will be deeper than just being a hero. As we hear about threats that can threaten the existence of Albion.
From what we can see it seems like the concept of choice will play a huge role in shaping the narrative. Even though the intricate details have not been revealed yet, some of the things from the aforementioned details are evident.
Fable is one of the oldest franchises for Xbox and it seems like they aren’t done with it just yet. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Fable and now we finally have it.
The developers of Fable, Playground Games are no strangers to making big games as they have developed games for the Forza Horizon series. It will be the first fable game after more than 14 years. The last fable game was released in 2010.
