Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Announced At State of Play

PlayStation has officially announced Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered at the State of Play along with other games. Rumors regarding the remaster’s release have been circulating for quite some time. Now, the release of the remaster has been confirmed and fans are concerned regarding the looks of the remaster.

One of the major reasons for these doubts is whether the game even needs a remaster since it is a fairly new game. It looks good enough, and all Guerrilla Games needed to do was give it a 60 FPS upgrade. This raises the question, “Is there room for improvement?”

Multiple promises of changes were made by the developers. The changes include enhanced dialogue 10 hours of conversations were rerecorded, high-resolution texture was added, character models were improved, and support for DualSense controller was added. Fans quickly jumped in and compared the remastered footage with the original game.

Many fans believe that the original looked even better than the remastered one. To many fans, the characters of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered are less realistic. Fans believe that the game only offers warmer colors and adds more grass.

Sony has been remastering them for a while and for some reason Bloodborne is never even considered for a remaster which is strange since players have been asking about it for years.

Horizon Zero Down Remastered has a release date of October 31, 2024. It will be available on PC and PlayStation 5. Players who own the normal version of the game will get to upgrade it for $9.99.
