Monster Hunter Wilds is one of the most anticipated upcoming games. Different trailers were released to give us different information. Now at the State of Play, we finally got a release date for the game.
Capcom announced that the game will be released on February 28, 2024.
The announcement comes alongside a new trailer for the game that shows us some new monsters along with some stories. The story looks interesting at a glance but it should not come as a surprise since Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Rise were a little heavy on the narrative. It seems like there will be quite a bit of cut scenes in the game, based on the trailer.
This new Monster Hunter game was announced at The Game Awards in previous years. It seemed like the game was taking the best that Monster Hunter and World and then mashing it with new things which could result in the next great experience.
More gameplay trailers showed us an open world that has new enemies and stuff with everything looking quite good.
Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will be released next year and unlike previous Monster Hunter games the new Monster Hunter will be released on PC on day one. I just hope that it gets released on Nintendo’s next console.
