Another PlayStation first-party game is making its way to PC and this time it is Spider-Man 2. The exclusive will come to PC on January 30.
The PC port will include the base game and all the DLCs associated with the game such as extra spider suits. Since there is no story DLC for the game it won’t have any additional story content. Features like keyboard mouse control, graphical options, and ultra widescreen support will also be included in the PC version of the game. It will also have “enhanced ray-tracing options.”
Sony has also revealed that they don’t have a plan for releasing any additional story content for the game for either PC or PlayStation.
The game is being ported to PC by the developer Nixxes. Nixxes has previously worked on releasing PC versions of the games which include Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Spider-Man, and Spider-Man Miles Morales. The studio is also developing Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster.
The release of Spider-Man 2 on PC is part of Sony’s push to release their game on PC. Spider-Man 2 is the latest and fastest game that has been put on PC. It will be released on PC after less than two years of its release on PlayStation 5. If the time between the release date on PlayStation and PC keeps on decreasing we might even see the day-one release of PlayStation games on PC.
