Star Wars Outlaws seems interesting and goes beyond what I had initially thought about it based on the new gameplay that we have gotten. It is a third-person action-adventure game in which you are running and gunning as you get into different scenarios. In a sense, it feels like an Uncharted with an open world that takes place in space.
There is standard video game stuff that is fun and entertaining. The protagonists seems more appealing and players can connect with her. Walking around in Star Wars open worlds is when the game seems to be at its best.
There are different planets and each planet has a large area to explore. So don’t expect a Starfield-like experience. It is a multi-regional game in a sense. Based on what we have seen and what we know, there are multiple planets with different biomes and layouts. It ranges from crowded marketplaces to swamps and other outwardly biome.
The combat is solid and feels quite good. There is also a cut-scene transition every time a player lands on a planet. This cut scene transition can be a nuisance but we will look into it when we review it. Star Wars Outlaws is a new type of Star Wars game that takes players on a wild journey across space. We will see how good it is hands-on or whether it is living up to expectations or not, once the game is out on 30 August 2024.
That is all we have on Star Wars Outlaws. For more, stay tuned.
