Titan Quest II was announced during the THQ Nordic Showcase. Along with the announcement came the news of the game’s availability in early access. It was shadow dropped, so you can just buy it and play it right now.
It can be good for players looking for a similar experience to Diablo 4. Titan Quest II is a loot-driven RPG in which you have to improve and upgrade your character with gear and abilities. The better your character is, the more difficult content you can complete, which gives you better resources and gear. In short, it is a looter shooter.
Titan Quest II has sold over 300,000 copies in less than 72 hours of its announcement. This momentum is not slowing down. The game has already become the title with the second-highest concurrent player peak for THQ Nordic. Biomutant is the only other game from the Publisher that is ahead of it, which was released during COVID.
The game is available on early access for PC players. The full version costs $49.99, but players who are getting into early access can buy it for $29.99. The first 7 days after announcement, the game is further discounted and is priced $23.99.
Entering Early Access puts you in a world full of challenge, mystery, and a lot of content, though it is not complete even by a long shot. It will evolve over time with player feedback and community response.
