The developers of Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 have announced that the Open Beta of their game has now been canceled. The decision was made to give the developer more time to focus on the core game. Developers are aiming to make it the best version of the game on its launch in September.
The Steam community post has this to say about the situation of the game “Space Marine 2 is almost ready. We are now entirely focused on optimization, polish, and fixing remaining issues ahead of launch on September 9,” it further clarifies. “This means we will not run a public online beta, as it would take the development teams away from preparing for the full launch, and our priority is to ensure the best possible experience at release.” So it is confirmed that there won’t be an Open Beta for Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2
Later on, they apologized to anyone who had signed up to participate in the open beta of the game before the 28th of June. They will also receive a limited Bolt Pistol skin. The post concludes with “We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work towards delivering the exceptional game you deserve,”
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is set to launch on the 19th of September for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5.
