Gears of War is finally coming to PlayStation with Gears of War: Reloaded which was showcased during the Xbox Games Showcase. Back in May, it was revealed that the first Gears game will be released on PlayStation with a global release slated for August 2025.
When Forza Horizon 5 was released on PlayStation other games were expected to follow suit and Gears of War: Reloaded is part of the suit. The reloaded version will have better graphics which is pretty much expected and multiplayer support.
This new title will be a cross-platform. The open beta has been launched which will be open to those who have preorders, owners of Xbox Game Pass, and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition which is the original remaster from 2015.
The beta opening was not all that surprising since Reloaded was a highly rumored game so it makes sense to beta test its servers before the expected launch. There were some findings uploaded to Reddit but the point is that all of it turned out to be true. Gears of War: Reloaded will show us how different it is going to be from the original which was launched in 2005.
