Microsoft announced Gears of War: Reloaded, an enhanced version of the game with major features. The Reloaded version is set to release on August 26th, 2025. It will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PlayStation, making it the second Xbox exclusive to launch on PlayStation. The multiplayer experience has also been rejuvenated, with cross-progression and cross-play on all the aforementioned platforms. They explain it as a “definitive way” to play the game that created one of the most successful video game franchises.
The game will have everything that was included in the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Once you are in the game all the post-lunch downloadable content will be available to you for no extra cost. The amount of content you receive will contain All the multiplayer maps, modes, and all the bonus content of the campaign. There are cosmetics and classic characters that can be unlocked by progressing.
Another Gears of War game called Gears of War: E-Day is already in development, but no release date has been announced for it just yet.
