Previously Known as Project Century, Stranger Than Heaven Gets New Trailer

Ryu Ga Gotaku Studio has revealed their new game called Stranger Than Heaven. It now has the official title and was previously known as Project Century. It was revealed in the Summer Games Fest with a flashy new trailer.

Stranger Than Heaven takes place in 1915 and 1943. It has the style and influence of RGG’s Like Dragon games but unlike those games, it takes place during the 20th century with a noir flair thrown on top. In the last trailer when it was known as Project Century, we saw that the game was set in 1915 but this new trailer brings players to 1943.

It’s fortunate that the combat of the game has remained the same even after a two-century jump. From what we can grasp from the trailer, it seems like players might have the ability to jump between the two time periods. The game is expected to be released sometime in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
