Capcom has released another trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds at Gamescom. The trailer shows a new region called Scarlet Forest as well as a new monster called Lala Barina which is a big spider-like monster.
The trailer shows off what to expect from the game and there will be a lot of big monsters to defeat. The newly released trailer explains The Scarlet Forest as “a dynamic environment that undergoes periods of Plenty, Inclemency, and Fallow” The new region will have an effect on the landscape as well as the wildlife inside it.
The monster Lala Barina is described as “part of the Temnoceran class of monsters rarely seen in the series” It further states “The Lala Barina can unfurl its thorax into a massive, rose-like form that is as treacherous as it is beautiful.”
The monster previously appeared but in glimpses. Rey Dau is now bigger which was also revealed in the latest trailer. It is a wyvern-like creature that lives close to the Windward Plains
NPCs are one of the major focus of the trailer because they now act as support hunters. A lot of different moves will also become part of the game’s combat. Windsong Village is the central hub of communities. In the Windsong Village players can eat, rest, prepare for the expedition, and upgrade gear
The release window of Monster Hunter Wilds is 2025 but there is no solid release date for the game. It will be available on PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S. The game will also have cross-play support.
