Hood: Outlaws & Legends Characters Guide

Hood: Outlaws & Legends characters are part of the Robin Hood lore and they are based on the characters from the story. Their names in the game are different but it still resonates with that of the lore. If you are interested in the game then you might be wondering what is the difference between the four characters? Let me tell you what to expect from Hood: Outlaws & Legends characters and how each is different than the other.

Characters

There are four characters in Hood: Outlaws & Legends. All the characters have different traits, perks, weapons, and abilities. Every character is different than the other in terms of both looks and abilities. Some are proficient in stealth others in frontal combat while some are in between. The proficiency of a character also depends on your playstyle and skills since it is a PVP game. Hood: Outlaws & Legends characters include:

John “The Brawler”

Marianne “The Hunter”

Robin Hood “The Ranger”

Tooke “The Mystic”

Each character has traits and abilities that make them better at certain things. All characters also have a unique ability that will get charged overtime. Perks of a character can be customized to improve weapon proficiency, traits, and abilities.

John “The Brawler”

John “The Brawler” uses a big hammer as a weapon. He is a character that can dominate in close-quarter combat. When it comes to direct attacks, no other character can match him in up-front combat. His mighty sweep with the hammer is devastating to the enemies. If you are the type of player who prefers direct combat, then John might be the one for you. He can serve as both defender and attacker towards the attacking enemies head-on. The Explosive bomb of John can clear multiple enemies from an area with a single attack.

Traits, Perks, and Ability

John’s trait is Resolute which lets him lift gates that can help other Hood: Outlaws & Legends characters to escape even if a lockdown is active. The perk of the Brawler allows him to complete objectives faster than any other character. He can carry the treasure chest faster and crank faster than any other character. John “The Brawler” special ability is Wraith which increases his offense and defense.

Marianne “The Hunter”

The Hunter is all about stealth and she performs well when it comes to taking down enemies from the shadow. As Marianne “The Hunter”, you have to remain undetected and take enemies down. Marianne is not that strong when it comes to close-range combat. She uses a burst fire cross-bow that is effective for the medium range at best. As a Hunter, you don’t have to worry about staying with your team that much. Once you get exposed there is very little you can do, especially when your opponent is a player from another team. Her smoke bomb can help her and her teammates in making a quick escape.

Traits, Perks, and Ability

Marianne has the Shadow trait that lets her assassinate guards from any direction when in stealth. This trait does not apply to players of the opposite team. The Hunter perk allows her to reset invisibility after every assassination. Marianne’s “The Hunter” ability is Shroud which makes her undetectable to guards and she becomes almost invisible to the players of the enemy team.

Robin Hood “The Ranger”

The Ranger is a long-range character that can hit targets from a long distance. Robin Hood uses a longbow to take down enemies from the distance. Think of him as a sniper that can take down enemies from a long distance with a single headshot. The Ranger can also be considered a jack of all trades. Among all of the Hood: Outlaws & Legends characters, he is the most versatile. Robin Hood can quickly fire arrows or charge the shot for a large amount of damage. He works best from long distances but his hand-to-hand combat abilities are also good. His flash bomb can blind multiple enemies in a small area for a short duration giving you ample time to strike them or escape.

Traits, Perks, and Ability

Robin Hood’s trait is scout which lets him tag enemies in the environment for a long duration. The Ranger can use the arrow as a melee weapon for more damage. His melee abilities are second to John only. Robin Hood “The Ranger” has Far Sight ability that lets him use an ethereal arrow which is an explosive arrow.

Tooke “The Mystic”

Tooke “The Mystic” is more about support than combat. Think of him as the healer of the team that keeps his teammates safe. He uses flail as a weapon to stun enemies and keep them at bay since he is constantly swinging it. Tooke can help in regenerating the stamina and health of his allies. He can also mark nearby enemies thus revealing their location to allies. His prison bomb can impair multiple enemies for a long duration allowing you to take them down.

Traits, Perks, and Ability

The Mystic has Respire trait that lets him regenerate stamina quicker among all the Hood: Outlaws & Legends characters upon usage. His perk let him take life from his opponent to heal him. When the perk is used at max health it will increase his attack power. Tooke “The Mystic” has an Instinct ability. The ability lets him heal allies and highlight the hidden enemies that are in the range.

In The End, It Is About You

If you are thinking about picking one of the four characters then this is the perfect guide. Depending on your playstyle and preferences any of the Hood: Outlaws & Legends characters can be suitable for you.
