Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl Has A Release Date

The new trailer of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl shows that there are many ways to die in the Exclusion Zone as you try to navigate through the dangerous terrain. The trailer was shown during the Xbox Games Showcase. There will be a lot of other things to do aside from dying. The fear of getting killed and discovering something new, that’s what the game is based on.

The monsters in the game will be familiar to the players who have played the original Stalker. From a psychic monster called Controller who launches psychic attacks to a rampager called Pseudogiant, all are back in the game.

Then there are dogs. These dogs will surround you and start attacking you from different sides. The attacks can be really quick and they might become irritating.

In the trailer, we also see the invisible monster called a Poltergeist. Based on what we can see in the trailer, it seems like Poltergeists can use shields to create a barrier from rocks. If true then this ability can make them more powerful.

Aside from monster players will of course fight other enemy factions and bandits. In the original Stalker, human enemies are dangerous and can take you down from a distance. More close-quarter combat would reduce the danger of being shot at randomly.

The last and most interesting part is the anomalies. The use of anomaly detectors and the way player’s detection devices work will make the experience even better. Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl looks really amazing. If you are a fan of the Metro series this can be an absolute treat since it takes inspiration from the Stalker series.

The game is set to release on September 05, 2024, so we are just going to need to wait a while.
