Warhammer 40K Space Marine 3 Has Been Announced

The release of Space Marine 2 was a welcoming change that revived the series and now Warhammer 40K Space Marine 3 is in the works. It should not come as a surprise since Space Marine 2 was quite a success. Now, the developer of the game, Saber Interactive has announced that they are working on Space Marine 3. Their press release reads “new edition promises an even more immersive experience, staying true to the Warhammer 40,000 universe with intense, brutal, and spectacular gameplay.“ It does hint that the experience for the next Space Marine will be the same as Space Marine 2.

There is not much information regarding the game but the developers have confirmed that the new entry will have both multiplayer and campaign. The ending of the Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 resulted in a nice setting for the sequel since Titus goes out on an unspecified mission in the end. Amazon web series Secret Level also featured Titus in one of its episodes.

The first two games in the series started off with an alien invasion and later on the actual antagonists Chaos Space Maine and its leader is revealed. It is not yet clear who the main antagonist of Warhammer 40K Space Marine 3 is going to be.

Saber Interactive pledges support for the game for years to come. They have been updating the game through different content and cosmetics. It will be interesting to see how the developer transitions to the next installment.
