Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis Build (Freezing Warlock)

Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis build utilizes stasis and grants you the chance of freezing all the enemies surrounding you. The Stasis build will let you freeze enemies and let you get ability energy quickly. You can activate up to 15 or more Bleak Watcher turrets at a time depending on enemies and mods. Mods on the stasis build help you get ability energy and grenade energy. You will get ability energy quickly even if you are not stunning enemies. The more you freeze enemies the quicker you will recover your abilities. Stasis build will let you clear a room of enemies with ease.

Stats Warlock Stasis Build

Prioritize armor pieces with high discipline, and then resilience. The more discipline you have the less will be the cooldown of your grenade ability. Resilience will help you take more damage which is important for survival. Recovery should be your third priority as it will reduce the cooldown time of Rift. Recovery will also help you regain health when you take damage. For the rest of the stats, you can use anything you want depending on your preference. The proper distribution of stats is important for Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis build.

Exotic (Osmiomancy)

Osmiomancy is one of the most powerful exotic armor for Warlocks. It will give you the Coldsnap grenade and will have two charges. Coldsnap grenades recharge more quickly on direct impact. Seekers that spawn from the Coldsnap grenade will travel further. Hits from seekers will also count as a direct hit and will grant you grenade energy. Osmiomancy can give you unlimited grenades as long as you are landing direct hits.

Weapons

You can use any weapon you want with Warlock Stasis build. There is no restriction on the use of a specific weapon. Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis build freezes enemies and weapon damage will do shatter damage.

Mods

Different mods on the Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis build increase its efficiency.

Hamlet

Helmet mods let gain super through melee kills and class ability usage.

Hands-On (3 Energy)

You will gain super energy whenever you defeat an enemy with melee ability.

Dynamo (3 Energy)

It will grant you super energy whenever you use class ability energy near enemies.

Gauntlets

Mods on gauntlets grant you ability energy through the use of other abilities while using it with Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis build.

Bolstering Detonation (2 Energy)

Damaging an enemy with grenades will grant you class ability energy. Use two Bolstering Detonation mods to gain more class ability energy through grenade damage.

Momentum Transfer (2 Energy)

Damaging enemies with grenades will give you melee energy. Momentum will help you get melee energy since you will be damaging enemies with grenades while using Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis build.

Impact Induction (2 Energy)

It will give you grenade energy whenever you damage an enemy with melee ability. Momentum Transfer and Impact Induction create a loop of giving energy to each other.

Chest Armor

The use of chest armor mod is up to you and you can use any mod you see fit.

Boots

Mods on boots grant you ability energy through the use of different mods.

Orbs of Restoration (2 Energy)

It will give energy to your least charged ability.

Absolution (3 Energy)

Collecting an orb of power gives you all ability energy.

Recuperation (1 Energy)

Picking up an orb of power heals you.

Bond

Bond mods work through the use of class ability usage.

Reaper (3 Energy)

Defeating an enemy with a weapon after using the class ability will spawn an orb of power.

Bomber (1 Energy)

Using class ability will grant you grenade energy. Use two Bomber mods if you don’t have the energy for Distribution or want more grenade energy.

Using rift near enemies will give you all ability energy. Only use Distribution if you have the energy for it or else, use two Bomber mods with Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis build.

Abilities are an important part of Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis build and proper abilities make the build perform well.

Grenade (Coldsnap)

Coldsnap grenade that freezes the target on impact and sends another seeker to freeze nearby enemies. With Osmiomancy gloves you will have two charges of Coldsnap grenade. Osmiomancy gloves will also help you gain a grenade when you throw a Coldsnap grenade.

The use of rift is up to you and you can use either empowering rift or healing rift.

Aspects

Aspects are abilities of stasis class and they can change the way ability works.

Iceflare Bolts

Doing shatter damage to an enemy will spawn a seeker that will track and freeze nearby enemies. Iceflare Bolts will increase the overall damage of your abilities. It will help you freeze enemies all around. Enemies that get frozen and shatter with Bleak Watcher Turret will also spawn seekers. Iceflare Bolts is an important aspect of Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis build.

Bleak Watcher

When you press and hold the grenade button, it will convert your grenade into Stasis Turret. The Stasis Turret will then shoot projectiles at enemies that will slow them down. After being shot a couple of times by Stasis Turret, enemies will get frozen. When frozen enemies take damage, they will shatter which will spawn seekers thanks to Iceflare Bolts. Both aspects will work together to freeze and shatter all around.

Stasis Fragments

Stasis Fragments can change how stasis abilities perform. Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis build uses fragments that increase chances of survivability and let you do more damage directly or indirectly.

Whisper of Fissures

Increases the damage and burst size of your stasis when you shatter or defeat an enemy. It will increase the amount of stasis damage you do from all sources.

Whisper of Chains

You will take less damage when you are near a stasis crystal or frozen target created by you or your allies. The more the frozen enemies or crystals the less the damage you take while using it with Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis build.

Whisper of Torment

You get grenade energy when you take damage. The amount of damage you take is directly proportional to the amount of grenade energy you get. So the more damage you take the more grenade energy you get.

Whisper of Durance

Slow from your abilities will last for a longer duration. Abilities that linger will have increased duration. It will also increase the duration of your Bleak Watcher Turret.

How to Use Warlock Stasis Build?

To make Destiny 2 Warlock Stasis build, you would need to use the Osmiomancy exotic, fragments, aspects, and mods mentioned above. The loop revolves around throwing grenades at enemies. If it lands directly on enemies, it will grant you the grenade back. Hold the grenade button two throw a Bleak Watcher Turret. Since you have two grenade charges use one grenade charge to throw Bleak Watcher Turret and throw another at enemies to recharge the grenade. Enemies that get frozen with Seekers from Iceflare Bolt will also grant grenade energy. Once you get the loop going, you can throw unlimited grenades.
