Destiny 2 Void Warlock Build (The Void God)

Warlocks can do a lot of void damage with the right equipment which is exactly what the Destiny 2 Void Warlock build enables players to do. It increases the amount of damage you do as a Warlock and reduces the cooldown of abilities to a great degree. In fact, you can use super in each encounter with this Voidwalker build. Supers will start to feel like grenades and grenades would feel like normal ammo. This is how much impact this Destiny 2 Void Warlock build can have on the void abilities of players.

The Void Walker build requires void damage, so the more you kill with void damage, the less is a cooldown on abilities. With the amount of destruction, you will be unleashing through the Destiny 2 Voidwalker build, there would be more than enough kills.

Stats for Destiny 2 Voidwalker Build

Destiny 2 Void Warlock build is a mix of different stats to make it as effective as possible. Since the majority of your cool-down time reduction will be coming from Nezarec’s Sin mask, making all abilities tier 5 is more than enough. If you want to focus on increasing a specific ability then increase the tier of that ability. I use a lot of grenades so my discipline ability is maxed out. If you are using class ability then increase recovery. Melee is not that important for the Destiny 2 Voidwalker build but if you want to increase it then increasing its stats is also a choice. The most important stat is resilience since tier 10 resilience will reduce the incoming damage by 30%. Keep in mind, that mobility and resilience will not have any impact on any of the Warlock’s abilities.

 

Exotic (Nezarec’s Sin)

Nezarec’s Sin helmet has Abyssal Extractors trait. The Abyssal Extractors trait will activate every time you kill enemies with the void energy. The trait will have a massive effect on the cooldown time of all your abilities. Killing enemies with void damage will activate the Abyssal Extractors trait for 2.5 seconds. Killing more than one enemy in these 2.5 seconds will grant you 2.5 seconds for each kill. With subclass super, it can reach up to 20 seconds. Nezarec’s Sin will have a major impact on the cool-down time of the Destiny 2 Void Warlock Build.

Mods

Different mods reduce the cooldown time of a void warlock which turns you into a Void God.

Helmet

Mods on the helmet will reduce the cooldown time of super every time you use an ability

Ashes to Asset (3 Energy)

Use two Ashes to Asset mods to reduce the cooldown time of super whenever you defeat an enemy with a grenade.

Dynamo (3 Energy)

If you have the energy then use a Dynamo mod as it will grant super energy whenever you use class ability near enemies.

Gauntlets

Chest Armor

Mods on chest armor will increase the number of charges you can carry

Charged Up (3 energy)

It will increase the number of armor charges you can carry by one. Charged Up will add one extra armor charge thus increasing the capacity of your armor charges.

Up to You

The second and third mods are up to you and you can use any mods.

Leg Armor

Mods on leg armor will help in reducing the cooldown of abilities and gaining armor charges for Destiny 2 Void Warlock Build.

Stacks on Stacks (4 Energy)

Every time you get an armor charge, Stacks on Stacks will grant you an extra armor charge. It will help you max out armor charges quickly.

Orbs of Restoration (2 Energy)

It will give energy to the ability with the least energy. Orbs of Restoration is a good mod for leg armor because it will help in recharging all of your abilities.

Recuperation or Innervation (1 Energy) (If you have the energy)

Recuperation will grant health every time you pick up an orb of power.

Innervation will reduce the grenade energy cooldown every time you pick up an orb of power.

Only use one of these two mods if you have the energy.

Class Item (Warlock Bond)

Mods on class items will reduce the cooldown time of abilities when you use rift

Bomber (1 Energy)

When you use the class ability you will gain grenade energy. Use two Bomber mods for maximum efficiency.

Reaper (3 Energy)

It will give you an orb of power whenever you defeat an enemy with a weapon after using the class ability.

Weapons

You can use any weapons with Nezarec’s Sin build but weapons with void energy can make the Destiny 2 Void Warlock build more effective. There is no damage type for kinetic weapons but the Osmosis trait can allow you to match the energy with your sub-class. All you have to do is use a grenade and the energy of the weapon will match your subclass. As long as you are killing enemies with void damage your cool-down will keep on reducing.

Subclass

The Void sub-class is an obvious choice since it is a Destiny 2 Void Warlock build.

 

Feed the Void

If you prefer raw damage and survivability, then Feed the Void works best. Feed the Void aspect will grant you Devour effect every time you kill someone with abilities.

Once the Devour effect is activated, each kill will fully regenerate your health, grant you 20% grenade energy, and will also reset the duration of Devour effect.

Devour effect would remain active as long as you are killing someone every 10 seconds. Echo of Persistence will increase its time from 10 seconds to 15 seconds which helps a lot with Destiny 2 Void Warlock Build.

Child of the Old Gods

Casting a rift will create a void soul. Shooting an enemy will send that void soul to that enemy. Once attached to an enemy, Child of the Old Gods will grant you class ability energy and weaken targets.

While using a healing rift, it will grant you grenade energy as well as long as you are damaging enemies. With empowering rift, you will gain health as long as you are damaging enemies with the Child of the Old Gods.

The Void Soul has a large area of damage and when enemies die inside it, you will gain class ability energy. Use a healing rift, it will help a lot in gaining grenade and rift energy.

 

Fragments

Fragments work alongside Aspects to provide maximum efficiency.

Echo of Expulsion

Echo of Expulsion will let enemies explode when they explode. These explosions will do damage to the surrounding enemies, thus increasing the overall damage output. It will also grant you +10 intellect.

Echo of Remnants

Vortex Grenade, Void Wall, Void Spike, and Axion Bolt will last for a longer duration. It will increase the amount of damage you do with Vortex Grenade which is the preferable grenade for the Destiny 2 Void Warlock build.

Echo of Undermining

Grenades will weaken targets. So damaging enemies will grenades will make targets weaker. Weaker targets will take 15% more damage. It will not only increase the damage of your grenades but also let you do more damage to enemies from different sources. It will also reduce your discipline by -20. Echo of Undermining will make little difference since you are weakening enemies with Child of The Old Gods anyway.

Echo of Persistence

Echo of Persistence will increase the duration of your void buffs such as Overshield, Invisibility, and Devour. It will increase the duration of your Devour effect from 10 seconds to 15 seconds. Echo of Persistence is helpful for grenade regeneration and survivability. Echo of Persistence will decrease your resilience by -10.

How to Use Destiny 2 Void Warlock Build?

To make the Void Walker build, you would need all the pieces mentioned above. After that, use the mods to increase the effectiveness of its abilities. Mods will make it even better. With Void energy weapons and the Osmosis trait on the kinetic weapon, all of your damage will be void damage. Multiple sources of void damage will decrease cool-down on all of your abilities making you quite powerful. With that, your Destiny 2 Void Warlock build is complete.
