Destiny 2 Stasis Build Warlock (Ager’s Scepter)

Freezing enemies and doing insane damage sounds like a good idea, it is possible with Destiny 2 Stasis build Warlock. The Warlock Ager’s Scepter build not only freeze enemies but also let you do an insane amount of damage. The burst damage from each frozen enemy you kill wreaks havoc on the battlefield. With Ager’s Specter, you will destroy enemies around you. Just kill one enemy, and the rest will fall.

Destiny 2 Warlock Ager’s Scepter build lets you clear ads at an insanely quick rate. It is a fun build that lets you shatter enemies all around. The more enemies you shatter, the more enemies will freeze all around. This loop will continue until all enemies are down. With Destiny 2 Stasis build Warlock, you can go against enemies in different difficulties and destroy them.

Stats

Use armor pieces with high recovery and high discipline. Recovery and discipline are the most important stats for Warlock. High discipline will increase the grenade recharge rate, letting you use grenades more often. High recovery will help you get your rift and health back quickly. If you want more survivability then use more resilience as it will help you survive intense combat. It will also stack with Whisper of Chains thus increasing your overall survivability.

Use Osmiomancy Gloves if you do not have the catalyst or want to use the grenade more often. Use Mantel of Battle Harmony if you have the catalyst or want to have more super.

Exotic Armor (Mantle of Battle Harmony or Osmiomancy Gloves)

You have two exotic choices when using the Warlock Ager’s Scepter build. You can either use Mantle of Battle Harmony Chest Piece or Osmiomancy Gloves. Mantle of Battle Harmony is all about getting your super as quickly as possible. Osmiomancy Gloves is all about getting grenade energy so the use of any of these exotic pieces is all up to you. The use of these exotic pieces will give you an amazing build with high DPS.

Mantle of Battle Harmony

Mantle of Battle Harmony is my favorite exotic piece for Destiny 2 Stasis Build Warlock. If your weapon energy matches with your subclass, you will gain super energy upon killing enemies with that weapon. Since you are using the stasis subclass with Ager’s Scepter, you will gain super energy. The catalyst increases the damage of Ager’s Scepter tremendously but it requires super energy to activate.  It will let you activate the catalyst of Ager’s Scepter more often.

If your super energy is filled, the damage of weapons having matching energy as your sub-class will increase. You can even stack it with the catalyst. Stacking it will increase your damage even further. You can stack it by activating super as soon as you get it. This weapon damage increase only lasts for fifteen seconds after the super is full. Only use it if you have the catalyst of Ager’s Scepter.

Osmiomancy Gloves

You will have two Coldsnap grenades. Upon hit with the Coldsnap grenade, you will gain grenade energy. The seeker that spawns from the Coldsnap grenade will travel further which makes them more efficient. All of this applies to the seeker of Iceflare Bolt’s aspects as well. Osmiomancy Gloves are a good choice as it makes your overall build more efficient. It will let you throw more grenades which will help in freezing more enemies while using Destiny 2 Stasis Build Warlock.

Mods

Mods on Destiny 2 Stasis build Warlock help with increasing damage and the amount of ammo gained.

Bolstering Detonation or Momentum Transfer

Bolstering Detonation will give you class ability whenever you damage an enemy with grenade ability.

Momentum Transfer will grant melee energy whenever you do damage with a grenade.

Use either one of them with Destiny 2 Stasis Build Warlock as both require the same number of energy.

Chest Armor

Mods on the chest armor increase the amount of ammo you can carry.

Harmonic Reserves

It will increase the amount of stasis ammo you can carry. Harmonic Reserves will increase the ammo capacity of Ager’s Scepter.

Boots

Different mods on the chest armor increase the efficiency of Destiny 2 Stasis build Warlock.

Elemental Charge

While using Elemental Charge, picking up a stasis shard will have a chance to give you an armor charge. Every second or third shard will grant you an armor charge. Since you will be picking a lot of stasis shards, it will keep your armor charges maxed out.

Harmonic Scavenger

You will gain extra ammo for Ager’s Scepter when picking up special ammo. It will help with keeping your reserves full.

Stasis Weapon Surge

It will increase the damage of your stasis weapon. Ager’s Scepter is a stasis weapon so it will give a damage buff to it.

Class Armor (Warlock Bond)

Mods on class armor work with rift usage and increase the time of buffs.

Bomber

Every time you use the class ability, it will grant you grenade energy.

Time Dilation

The decaying armor charge will have an increased duration. Meaning that Stasis Weapon surge damage will last for a longer duration.

Stasis Sub Class

Depending on the fragments and aspects, the performance of the stasis sub-class can change drastically.

Grenade

Coldsnap grenade is a good choice for Destiny 2 Stasis Build Warlock. It freezes enemies on impact and sends seekers to freeze other targets. It works in conjunction with Iceflare Bolt to freeze multiple targets. You do not need to worry about grenades, you will be getting them with Osmiomancy Gloves if you are using them.

Aspects

Aspects will make Ager’s Scepter even more powerful. They will enhance the functionality of the build and weapon

Glacial Harvest

Freezing enemies creates stasis shards. Powerful enemies create more shards. Collecting a stasis shard will grant you an armor charge. Different mods use to increase the damage of Ager’s Scepter. Fragments will grant you overshield and healing through the collection of stasis shards. Destiny 2 Stasis Build Warlock makes full use of the shards with mods and fragments.

Iceflare Bolts

Shattering a frozen target will spawn seekers that will tack and freeze the nearby enemies. Since Ager’s Scepter will be freezing and shattering multiple enemies, the seekers will freeze all the enemies. The enemies that remain will get frozen by seekers from Iceflare Bolts, leaving none intact. Iceflare bolts will also help you do more damage. While hitting a powerful enemy with Ager’s Scepter, these seekers will freeze and shatter the same target thanks to Whisper of Conduction

Nearby stasis shards will track to your position which makes their collection easier. Whisper of Conduction will work alongside Whisper of Rime for maximum efficiency. Hitting enemies while the catalyst is active will decimate enemies.

Fragments

The Fragments of Destiny 2 Stasis build Warlock makes Ager’s Scepter do more damage. It not only helps in recharging abilities but, also protects you and increases the damage output.

Whisper of Rime

Collecting stasis shards will grant a small overshield. The overshield will last for 10 seconds, any stasis shard you collect during that time will reset the time and give you more overshield.

Destiny 2 Warlock Whisper of Rime

Whisper of Conduction

Nearby stasis shards will track to your position which makes their collection easier. Whisper of Conduction will work alongside Whisper of Rime for maximum efficiency. It will also give you +10 intellect and +10 resilience.

Destiny 2 Warlock Whisper of Conduction

Whisper of Chains

When you are near a frozen enemy or a friendly crystal, you will take less damage. You will take nearly 40% less damage while near a frozen enemy or stasis crystal. Since you will be freezing enemies all around you with Warlock Ager’s Scepter build, it will be active most of the time.

Destiny 2 Warlock Whisper of Chains

Whisper of Fissures

It increases the size of the burst when you shatter a frozen target or crystal. Whisper of Fissures also increases the damage from the burst. So killing a frozen target will do more damage with Whisper of Fissures. With Ager’s Scepter, each enemy you kill will create bust damage. It will increase the size and damage of the burst, thus letting you do more damage.

Weapons (Ager’s Scepter) and Stasis Weapon

Ager’s Scepter is the main component of the Destiny 2 Stasis build Warlock. It cannot function without Ager’s Scepter. As long as you have Beyond Light, you can get it from Monument of Light. Just use any other energy weapon as primary and a Stasis Heavy weapon for optimum performance.

Ager’s Scepter is a stasis Trace Rifle that can do massive damage. Ager’s Scepter is the most powerful special ammo weapon that can destroy enemies. It damages enemies, freezes them, and does shatter damage. All of these factors can be impacted by the Stasis Subclass.

Fragments and aspects from the stasis sub-class can change its performance. With the right fragments, it can do an insane amount of shatter damage. It can also activate fragments and aspects that require stasis final blows or damage. The death of a single enemy will freeze all the surrounding enemies while also doing shatter damage to them. All you need to do is kill a single enemy, and the remaining enemies will die from shatter damage. Each enemy you kill will also refill the magazine from reserves.

Catalyst

The Catalyst can make it even stronger. It will increase its damage by more than 75%. While Catalyst is active, any enemy you shoot will freeze. Ager’s Scepter will also do more shatter damage while Catalyst is active. The use of Whisper of Fissures will make this shatter damage even stronger. It will also double the magazine size of Ager’s Scepter while using it with Destiny 2 Stasis Build Warlock.

Activating the Catalyst requires super so you would need to produce a lot of super energy if you want to use it more often. It is the reason that Mantle of Battle Harmony is such a good choice for Catalyst. You can only activate the catalyst if your super is full.

To stop the catalyst, you would need to reload, hold reload button, or swap the weapon. Catalyst will also deactivate when you run out of super or magazine empties. Running out of Super or Emptying the magazine is not a problem. You make super while using Killing enemies and the magazine automatically refills from reserves upon kill.

All enemies in easier content will not stand a chance against you even if you are not using a catalyst. You would only need to activate the catalyst when going against powerful enemies or bosses during nightfall and harder content.

Use of Destiny 2 Stasis Build Warlock

To make use of all that Warlock Ager’s Scepter build has to offer, use all the armor pieces and mods mentioned above. After putting the armor pieces and mods together your build will be ready. You can freeze enemies with grenades or Ager’s Scepter. Killing these enemies with Ager’s Scepter or your second weapon will shatter them. This will freeze more enemies and shatter some of them. The cycle will continue until all enemies are dead. Activate your catalyst to do more damage and melt bosses.
